We listen to all releases submitted to AMRAP for the purposes of suitability for the platform. This does not factor in personal preferences or taste in any way, however we do reserve the right to reject submitted releases on the grounds of audio quality or content therein.
It's important to mark any music as explicit via the tabs provided where appropriate to meet particular broadcast standards.
Audio quality refers to the sound and production of your release. We give a lot of leeway in this regard, as we’re aware there’s artistic value and merit in lo-fi or DIY production. However, music submitted to us needs to have a standard of audio quality that can be broadcast, so we’re listening out for things like distortion (not the intentional kind), muffled voices or audio, or particularly poor recording quality.
This is assessed on a case-by-case basis, but we encourage you to objectively review your music before submitting. If it sounds like it isn’t of a quality that you would hear on the radio, it might be worth looking into alternative recording and production methods.
