AMRAP is purely a distribution platform and is not involved in any payout of potential royalties. We recommend artists sign up as members of APRA AMCOS and attach songwriting details to their submissions where possible.
AMRAP and the CBAA have a partnership with APRA AMCOS and PPCA to ensure music uploaded to AMRAP is reported to these organisations to pay out royalties to members accordingly.
Community radio stations that have access to AMRAP hold a license directly with royalty collectors APRA AMCOS and PPCA. These community radio stations (where required) are responsible for reporting information about the music they use.
Fees for music airplay on community radio are collected by APRA AMCOS and PPCA and then royalties are paid by these organisations in accordance with their policies and procedures.
