The AMRAP Metro and Regional Charts are a weekly ‘top ten’ of the most downloaded tracks on AMRAP from our metro and regional community radio stations and program makers, respectively.
Metro Charts include broadcasters from stations in Australia’s capital cities, broadcasting city-wide.
Regional Charts include broadcasters from stations located in regional, rural or remote Australia. Charts are collated via an automated process on a seven-day cycle, starting with the previous Monday through to the following Sunday.
There’s no one way to guarantee a spot on the Metro or Regional Charts, but we’ve observed that artists or representatives with a strong outreach effort to Australian community radio stations and broadcasters in addition to using AMRAP have often seen those efforts reflected in the charts.
The CBAA monitors downloaded track data, to isolate any anomalies or corrupted data, and to check any abnormal patterns that are observed. If an issue cannot be adequately explained, or the CBAA believes that that there was an unfair advantage, regardless of intention, the CBAA may in its sole discretion exclude a particular track or artist from the chart. In this regard, CBAA decisions are final, and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into regarding any outcomes reached.
